We are honoured to welcome Dr. Jan Zwicky, author of Lyric Philosophy, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Zwicky’s work has significantly shaped contemporary discussions of philosophy as a poetic and perceptual practice.
This interdisciplinary conference is devoted to Greco-Roman and lyric approaches to philosophy, with particular attention to philosophy as a lived, poetic, and perceptual practice. We include a plethora of presenters engaging ancient philosophical traditions, lyric thought, or their contemporary resonances. Contributions include presentations and may include poetry, as well as music.
Join us on March 7th, from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in B355, RM203 on the VIU Nanaimo Campus.
