Join us for Student Tribunal Training, an interactive session designed to prepare students to participate confidently, fairly, and responsibly in university tribunal processes.
University tribunals play a critical role in upholding fairness and accountability when addressing academic and non-academic matters. This training provides an overview of how tribunals operate and introduces key concepts such as procedural fairness, conflict of interest, and the roles and responsibilities of tribunal members. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how decisions are made and how fairness is maintained within institutional governance.
This session is ideal for students who are interested in serving on a tribunal or learning more about how procedural fairness and administrative tribunals impact decision making in a post-secondary environment.
Please note: This is the same training offered last year. Students who have already completed the training do not need to attend again, unless they would like a refresher on the content.
