VIUSU Free Student Tax Clinic

Don't let tax season stress you out! The Vancouver Island University Students' Union (VIUSU) is proud to present our annual Tax Clinic, offered in partnership with the CRA Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

This service is completely free for VIU students. Whether you have a simple return or just aren't sure where to start, our volunteers are here to help you navigate the process and ensure you're getting your return filed correctly and on time.

Why participate?

• Expert Help: Volunteers will guide you through your return on the spot.

• Efficient: Most students are finished in just one visit.

• Cost: $0. It’s a free service provided specifically for our student community.

What to bring: Please ensure you have all your necessary tax documents (T4s, T2202 tuition receipts, etc.) and a piece of government ID. Note: This clinic is for the current tax year only.

When & Where:

• Dates: March 30th – April 28th

• Location: VIUSU Clubhouse (Building 193)

• Registration: Appointment required.
