Join us for VIU’s Sisters in Spirit gathering as we walk together in remembrance and solidarity with missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender and gender-diverse people.

We will meet at 11:45 am in Kwulasulwut Garden before walking together to Tamagawa Garden, pausing at the red dress displays along the way for reflection.

Sisters in Spirit is commemorated annually on October 4. VIU’s gathering will take place on Monday, October 5, so more students, staff and faculty can participate.
