🏀 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship

The VIU Students’ Union is proud to sponsor and support the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Basketball National Championship — presented by TD and hosted by Vancouver Island University.

The best collegiate basketball in Canada is coming to Nanaimo, and we’re making sure students don’t miss it.

Eight top teams from across the country — including our VIU Mariners (automatic hosts qualification!) — will compete over four days for the national title.

All games take place at the VIU Gymnasium (Building 190), 900 Fifth Street.

All seating is general admission.
