Psychology Club

Campus: Nanaimo

The Psychology Club hosts fun and engaging events for students throughout the year. From scavenger hunts and year-end faculty mixers to self-care goodie bags for World Mental Health Day. We fundraise for a meaningful cause each year. In 2024, we raised funds for the Jeff Nicol Memorial Scholarship. In honour of Dr. Nicol, it was based for students interested in pursuing graduate studies in Counselling & Addictions.

To kick off the 2025/26 school year, we raised $2,242 for the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society through Toss the Boss, where two of our amazing professors bungy jumped at WildPlay Nanaimo. We support students' academic journey through sessions like our CV workshop, Grad School Talk, and APA workshop.

Meetings are hosted bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 4:00PM in B356/R319

Students can join our social committee by filling out the google form in our link tree and can contact us by email or through our discord.
