The Pub is owened by the Students' Union and operated as a service, meaning it does not generate a profit. Pub staff are unionized with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (Local 1858) and are mostly drawn from the student body.  The Pub menu is designed to provide quality, cost-effective food options and is updated each semester based on customer and staff feedback, as well as cost profiles for the products served.

The Students' Union Pub has the following hours of operation:

MONDAY: 11.30am to 7pm
TUESDAY: 11.30am to 7pm
WEDNESDAY: 11.30am to 7.30pm
THURSDAY: 11.30am to Midnight
FRIDAY: 11.30am to 7.30pm

The Pub is open between January 3 and April 13, 2012.

Please Note: The Pub is a licensed establishment and guests need to be 19 years of age or older with appropriate ID to enter.

The Pub hosts a weekly open mic night on Thursdays at which students and alumni dust off their musical and artistic skills, and impress their friends with both high and moderate quality performances. Don't have a guitar? No problem, the Students' Union has a house guitar for guests to use so there are no excuses!

Open mic night begins at 9pm and goes until the Pub closes at midnight. There is often a line, so come early to get a good seat. For more information, call 250.716.9211.
